How-to Use the Request to Join Feature (Host)

This article will show how users who have not been invited can join a deposition step by step.

Users who have not been invited can use a forwarded direct invite or a deposition URL link

Instructions

 

  1. A user who is not on the attendee list for an upcoming deposition can use the Request to Join feature

    1. When a user uses a direct invite not intended for them or a shared URL link to join the deposition, the Host and Co-Host will be notified of the request from within the deposition room

       

    2. The Host and Co-Host will also be notified from the Deposition details page

       

    3. By clicking the “Allow” button, the attendee will join as a Counsel

      1. When the Host denies the Request to Join, the user will not be able to join the deposition



A users may Request to Join a deposition after being denied access by the Host
