How-to Use the Request to Join Feature (Attendee)

This article will show how users who have not been invited can join a deposition step by step.

Users who have not been invited can use a forwarded direct invite or a deposition URL link

Instructions

 

  1. When a user who has not been directly invited attempts to join a deposition with a forwarded email invite or shared deposition URL link, they will be directed to the Request to Join page.

    1. Once the user clicks on the provided link they will log in and will be directed to the request to join page

       

    2. Click on the “Request to Join” button

       

    3. Once the Host has accepted the Request to Join, you will be directed to the pre-call page where you will join as a Counsel

      1. If the Host denies the Request to Join, the user will not be able to join the deposition but can attempt to join again

         

A users may Request to Join a deposition after being denied access by the Host
