Problem
You cannot hear anyone in the deposition room.
Quick Take: Check your device settings to ensure that your speakers are working and accessible to the platform.
Solution
Make sure that your speakers are not on mute
If you are using a desktop, ensure that speakers are turned on and the volume is turned up
Test that the speakers are working by playing a YouTube.com Video with the sound turned on
Check the “Output Device” in the Windows and Mac Settings. See steps below:
For Mac users, navigate to the ‘System Preferences’ application located within your dock
Select the ‘Sound’ tab and this will allow you to access all sound settings including speaker output.
For Windows users, right-click on the sound settings button in the lower right corner of your computer.
Select “Open Sound Settings” to access information on your speaker output and ensure they are properly selected.
After making any adjustments to your sound settings, please refresh the platform by clicking the browser's refresh button located to the left of the address bar
