Scheduling a Deposition Generates an "Undefined" Error.

Problem

Clicking ‘Next’ on the Deposition Creation page generates an error that says “Undefined” above the Case Name field when trying to schedule the deposition.

Quick Take: There is a 100 character limit to the Case Name field and a 50 character limit to the Job # field.

Solution

To move past this error:

  1. The Case Name must be under 100 characters and the Job # must be less than 50 characters

  2. Adjust the Case Name to be less than 100 characters and the Job # to be less than 50 characters

  3. You should now be able to schedule the deposition
