Problem
When joining the Deposition you may experience a failure of the page to load in combination with a spinning mouse pointer that can freeze the web page.
Quick Take: This is most often caused by internet connectivity issues, VPN, an Unsupported Browser, a Docking Station, or Camera and Mic hardware problems.
Solution
Please check the following to troubleshoot this issue:
Ensure that you are disconnected from any VPN or Proxy Server.
Make sure you are not remotely connected to another computer using Remote Desktop or Citrix.
If you are using a docking station please disconnect from it and restart the Google Chrome Browser.
Run a Speed Test at SpeedTest.net. The vTestify platform requires 5 Mbps for the download and 3 Mbps for the upload.
A bad internet connection or connectivity issues can cause the page to freeze upon trying to load the video.
If you have an LTE mobile hotspot available from your cell phone please try and use that connection to join the deposition. See How to Use Your Mobile Phone as a Hotspot.
Make sure you are using Google Chrome on a PC or MAC. See Supported Browsers
Camera and Microphone hardware problems can cause this issue.
If you are joining as an audio-only attendee you must have a microphone and allow it permission when entering the room. Without a microphone you cannot enter the room.
If you are a video attendee you need to have a webcam and allow it permission when entering the room. If you wish to turn off your video you can disable it from the platform inside the room.
